There are so many businesses with a great product and great founders who are growing organically through word of mouth and referrals. I help these businesses step it up and drive growth initiatives that are customer-centric, sustainable and in line with the founders' goals.

I use my expertise from scaling hoolah.co and TradeGecko marketing and partnerships functions to help founders identify their blindspots. I help them gain commercial confidence and identify ways for them to win more customers and make more revenue.

Our advising relationship is in the form of a partnership. I want you to succeed and hit your business goals for the long term. I want what we work on to be sustainable and define success for the upcoming years. This guides the way that we work together.

We get started by establishing the following fundamentals. If you've already started defining this, that's a great start.

  1. Defining your business' "why" - this defines what we do, and why we do it. Time and time again, we will come back to this to see if what we're working on makes sense.
  2. Identifying your ideal customer profile and customer personas - so that we can educate our team and our partners on the "Golden Customer" who is a great fit for us.
  3. Drawing out your customer journey map to identify how people move through the buying process, the costs associated with customers, and areas for improvement.

Once we've established the fundamental, we can layer on top of this. Our engagements will revolve around your business goals, whether you want to grow, manage your data better, or resolve key issues in your business. No topic is off the table.

Typically our catch-ups and engagements will cover the following topics:

  1. Identifying areas for growth - Looking at the funnel and working on initiatives and experiments that we can run.
  2. Executing growth initiatives
  3. Problem solving - We sound out and try to solve issues in the commercial cycle or elsewhere in the business.
